Causes
- PADS installation includes legacy hardware key (dongle) drivers for the SSI (Pink) parallel port key. These interfere with the hibernate feature, if no parallel port is present. The feature may return if a notebook computer is plugged into a docking station with a parallel port.

under %SYSTEMROOT%, remove any of the following files, (if they exist), then reboot.
